When we first met Nikki, the force behind Live Eco, we knew this was going to be a fun project. The fact that Rucita and Nikki were wearing the exact same nail polish colour in our first meeting was the only sign we needed!

Live Eco is a South African online resource for eco chic fashion, beauty and lifestyle. The website is an amazing platform for sharing information about living a sustainable and informed lifestyle.

When rebranding Live Eco, our challenge was to set it apart from the many other ‘green’ sites out there and communicate to the 21st century Live Eco reader; a trendy, effortlessly stylish, smart individual who is locally and globally aware with a zest for life. Our single brand message: ‘trending lightly’ says it all.

As the brand lives online, the most challenging aspect was the website. Being a content driven site with a number of subsections it was key that the website be clean, informational and user friendly but at the same time bring across Nikki’s lively personality.

Live Eco is the biggest website we have worked on so far and we are really glad to have been given the opportunity to work on such a great brand whose values of sustainability are in line with ours here at Good Design.
