A restaurant identity – Yay! We were super excited when Hans (former Food & Beverage Manager at the V&A Waterfront and good friend of Roxy’s) recommended us to work on the redesign of Italian restaurant ilPaninaro at the Alfred Mall. We were even more excited when owner, Jules called us with the new name: Cafe Alfredo. It was spot on!

With the perfect location next to the harbour and a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the V&A, we wanted to bring across the feeling of a Roman holiday and create this holiday spirit for both tourists and locals. Offering authentic Euro café styled food, we also wanted to create an identity that spoke to the European and Italian lifestyle: effortless style, classic and timeless with a contemporary and romantic touch. And not forgetting how important family is to the Italians, a warm and friendly identity was equally important.
